SHALOM

Welcome

Our MISSION is to assist the lost and broken in establishing a positive foundation through biblical counseling and the principles of neurotheology. By renewing the mind, we enable them to build productive lives based on a real relationship with our CREATOR. Our school of ministry and soul care courses are designed to support this transformative journey.

Our teaching method here at Bit YHoShua

Our mission is to provide students with doctoral-level training in the Neurotheology of Biblical Counseling, equipping them to become knowledgeable and thoughtful Biblical Counselors. Through our school of ministry, we offer soul care courses that emphasize the integration of faith and mental health.

"My people were silenced for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you from being a priest to me; seeing that you have forgotten the Torah of your God, I, too, will forget your children." (Hoshea 4:6)

Why Neurotheology and NOT secular counseling?

There is a need to equip the chosen people, the "Assembly” of YHVH, our GOD, from within by energizing Ministers and empowering Congregations through biblical counseling and soul care courses that reflect what is taught by the WORD of YHVH, our GOD. He was moved with empathy (compassion in action) because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to Hoshea, "My people were silenced for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you from being a priest to me; seeing that you have forgotten the Torah of your God, I, too, will forget your children." (Hoshea 4:6)

Ministry before YHVH God is this: to look after orphans and widows in their afflictions and to keep yourself without blemish from the secular society. Who are the “widows and orphans” today? The abandoned Mothers and their Children in our community, most without even understanding how to have a relationship with YHVH, our GOD, often need support through programs like the school of ministry and insights from neurotheology.

Introduction to Neurotheology

This course introduces Neurotheology as an emerging field of study and practice that seeks to understand the relationship between brain science and theology which focuses on the whole human to help those struggling to tap into the power within and beyond themselves to reach LIFE.

Seven Pillars of Neurotheology:

1. A healthier brain means a more balanced brain

2. A balanced brain builds more brain reserve

3. More brain reserve opens perception, allowing for growth

4. A broader perception opens a broader prospective bridge to theology

5. An understanding of theology (LIFE's philosophy) reduces fear

6. A reduction in fear equals security, and the ability to understand existence's meaningful purpose

7. Understanding the purpose of existence allows for the discovery of what is beyond existence, the meaning of "LIFE."

Made in the Image of GOD

This course address the central question that neurotheology addresses is whether the issues people struggle lies within their brain, their temperament, or both. This introductory course, provides a Biblically based and Science-supported path to 'renewing of the mind' to help heal relationships and strengthen faith.

It is not a quick fix but a lasting transformation. When the brain is healthy, the whole person heals, and communities flourish. IS MENTAL HEALTH TRULY BRAIN HEALTH ?

This course is specifically tailored for ministers and congregations facing challenges that the secular world labels as mental health issues.
